Thank you Windsor Township Fire Department

We at Holt-Dimondale Agency would like to take this opportunity to thank the Windsor Twp Fire Dept for the very professional manner in which the fire in Dimondale was handled. If people do not know there are many people that know that there is a mutual aid agreement between communities but this is a perfect example of how the fire departments respond to big fires. Benton Twp, Delhi Twp, Delta Twp and Potterville all helped with a fire. SO on top of just the thank you to windsor that started in a garage of one house that caught another house on fire that melted parts of two other houses and was throwing burning embers through the entire downtown of Dimondale. 35 Fireman responded at a minimum and saved what could have been a much worse situation. In a time when there are many budget cuts that are being discussed this is the reason Fire, Police and Roads Are what small town governments do well.

A very sincere thanks goes out to the many that were involved in this situation.
